Tyson Black captures photographs that feel like they weren't waiting to be taken. Based in Los Angeles and largely self-taught, he came to photography the way most lasting things happen: on a trip, with a camera, and a sudden need to hold onto how a place felt. That instinct never left. His work spans travel and lifestyle, shot primarily on film and digital with a signature aesthetic built around natural light, clean composition, and minimal post-processing. He isn't interested in images that announce themselves, he's interested in the ones that put you somewhere. His goal has always been the same: capture what something looked like and what it felt like to be there, in a single frame, and make whoever's looking feel a little of it too.
