For Bob Haxton, art and design have always been intertwined. After studying art and design at Whittier College, Bob spent two decades building custom homes in the Venice Beach Canals, collaborating with Frank Gehry and other visionary architects. These experiences laid the foundation for his creative approach to both architecture and painting. In 1999, Bob and his wife, Linda, launched BH Homes & Design, bringing their combined talents to California and Southern Oregon. Bob’s transition to painting allowed him to explore new dimensions of creativity. Using techniques rooted in home design, he layers paints, inks, and washes to craft minimalist works that evoke connection, balance, and serenity.
