An artist at heart, Kate embarked on her design career at Harrington College of Design, where she earned her degree in Interior Design. Since 2000, she has been honing her craft and cultivating her signature fresh and timeless aesthetic. As the Principal Designer, Kate leads all projects to ensure they reflect the client’s vision while incorporating the distinctive KMI style. Her endless ideas, relentless work ethic, unwavering vision, and infectious sense of humor make her a joy to collaborate with. Kate resides in Barrington, Illinois, with her husband, their two daughters, and their dogs, Maddox and Millie. In her free time, she enjoys biking with her girls, attending yoga classes with friends, searching for the perfect antique rug, and indulging in late-night online shopping.
